When Thomas Jefferson wrote about “effective government requiring active participation of well-informed citizens,” he would never even have dreamed that online portals like The PeoplesVote.com and FlowPay corporation could get together to enable donor payments using bankcards or mobile phones.
But that's exactly what happened when ThePeoplesVote.com entered into a strategic partnership with FlowPay Corporation enabling subscribers and donors to make campaign contributions in the form of electronic payments through a central platform.
Combining the state-of-the-art voter convenience and engagement technology with FlowPay's mobile donation platform, will, according to company officials, help deliver an innovative and unique service in the political arena.
FlowPay Corporation is an emerging company, whose first Point of Collection Terminal POC and Integrated Giving Management Payment System, designed for tax-exempt organizations allows campaign contributions to be made using bankcard, kiosks or even their mobile phones.
These contributions can be made wherever there is a fundraising activity or by accessing the website from any location.
"As an emerging company, we are very excited to offer our payment processing platform in conjunction with ThePeoplesVote.com to provide an extremely valuable capability for candidates and voters,” said Wayne Steiger, CEO at FlowPay Corporation, in a press release.
ThePeoplesVote.com is a nonpartisan platform that helps citizens clearly understand the issues, cast more educated votes, and communicate more effectively with their elected officials.
It is an Internet-based, "ballot enabled" social utility that is designed to handle tens of millions of users and keep them informed about popular public policies that are being debated by government before they become law.
